‘American Horror Story’ Season 4 is going to be quite the freak show. Literally! Show creator Ryan Murphy announced that the highly anticipated carnival themed season has officially been named ‘Freak Show’. Keep reading for more details!

Ryan Murphy is taking creepy to freaky with a brand new season of American Horror Story. The fourth season will be set in a carnival, he announced on Monday, March 24, and now that it’s been tapped as American Horror Story: Freak Show, we’re certain that the new episodes will be a circus of a spookfest.

Fans have been buzzing about the upcoming season of American Horror Story, going as far as creating fan art for the new season. Now, their vision can finally come to life, as the new round of episodes has officially been tapped as “Freak Show.”It was previously reported that the fourth season would indeed be set in a carnival, and now that Ryan Murphy‘s hit horror series is being called American Horror Story: Freak Show, we know that we can expect not only the creepiest of carnivals, but also the freakiest scene-stealing acts. The bearded lady stands no chance!
Ryan, who’s also at the helm of Glee — apparently, Lea Michele is dying to appear on AHS — announced the big Freak Show news to his 624,000 Twitter followers on Monday, March 24.
We’re envisioning an abandoned carnival full of sick and twisted clowns, gag-worthy contortionists and we’re downright terrified. Who’s with me?
