Boko Haram ‘in Cameroon kidnappings’

Suspected militants from Nigerian Islamist group Boko Haram have kidnapped dozens of people in raids in neighbouring Cameroon, officials say.

Boko HaramThey said many of those kidnapped in the cross border attack against villages were children.
Four villagers who tried to fend off the attackers were killed, a security source has told the BBC.
Boko Haram has seized control of towns and villages in north-east Nigeria, and begun threatening neighbouring nations.
Chad, which also borders Nigeria, has just sent soldiers to help Cameroon in the fight against the jihadists.
The BBC’s Randy Joe Sa’ah in Cameroon’s capital, Yaounde, says this is the first time Cameroonian villagers have been kidnapped by suspected militants.
Previous kidnappings in Cameroon blamed on Boko Haram have been more targeted – with high-profile people or foreigners reportedly taken for ransom, he says.
‘Burnt to ashes’
A security source told the BBC that it was the villages of Maki and Mada in the Tourou district near Mokolo city in Cameroon’s Far North region, about 6km (four miles) from the Nigerian border, that came under attack.
The suspected militants arrived in the early hours of Sunday morning when it was still dark and left in the direction of Nigeria with scores of hostages.
Cameroon’s Information Minister Issa Tchiroma Bakary confirmed the attacks saying between 30 and 50 people were taken in the raids – although he said an exact number was difficult to establish as investigations were ongoing.
“They burnt to ashes almost 80 houses,” he said.
A police officer told the AFP news agency put the figure of hostages at around 60, saying “most were women and children”.
Officials told Reuters that as many as 80 people had been kidnapped. Those abducted included about 30 adults and 50 children between the ages of 10 and 15, an army officer deployed to northern Cameroon told the agency.
Cameroon has criticised Nigeria for failing to do more to confront Boko Haram.
The militants have kidnapped many people in north-eastern Nigeria, including more than 200 girls from a school in Chibok last April.
Those abductions caused worldwide outrage and sparked a social media campaign organised under the hashtag #BringBackOurGirls, calling on the authorities to do more to free the girls – who have still not been found or freed.
Sunday’s kidnappings appear to be further evidence that Boko Haram is conducting a regional campaign of violence.
Last year, 27 people seized in Cameroon by suspected Boko Haram fighters were held for months before being freed in October. They included 10 Chinese workers and the wife of Cameroon’s Vice-Prime Minister Amadou Ali.
It is not clear how their release was secured.
Several French hostages have also been kidnapped in Cameroon by Boko Haram and subsequently released.
France and Cameroon denied paying a large ransom for the release of the Moulin-Fournier family in 2013.
On Friday, Ghana’s President John Mahama said African leaders would discuss plans this week to “deal permanently” with Boko Haram militants, and that a multinational force may be considered

Boko Haram Just Pulled Off One Of The Deadliest Terrorist Attacks In History

Boko Haram extremists opposed to Western-style education and secular governance in Nigeria, carried out a multi-day attack in the northeast of Nigeria, focusing on the town of Baga.
According to Musa Alhaji Bukar a senior government official who spoke to the BBC, Baga, which once had a population of about 10,000 people, is now “virtually nonexistent.”
The multi-day rampage focused on Baga and the surrounding towns and villages. The militants razed an estimated 16 towns around Baga, according to the BBC.
“These towns are just gone, burned down,” Borno State Senator Ahmed Zanna told NBC News. “The whole area is covered in bodies.”

The rampage has led to the death of an estimated 2,000 Nigerian civilians and has sent approximately 10,000 people fleeing into neighboring Chad, according to the Associated Press.

Boko Haram’s rampage throughout the region is a direct blow to the prestige of the Nigerian military.
BOKO HARAM TERRORIST
A Nigerian soldier, center, walks at the scene of an explosion in Abuja, Nigeria, that had been carried out by Boko Haram.
Baga, which Nigerian troops abandoned on Jan. 4 after a day of fighting, was set to host the Multi-National Joint Task Force (MNJTF), a coalition of troops from Nigeria, Chad, and Niger whose expressed purpose was to defeat the Boko Haram insurgency. At the time of the attack, only Nigerian troops were present.
Boko Haram’s assault in Baga was executed in two phases, according to Time. The offensive began on Jan. 3 in a push against the MNJTF base and lasted until Jan. 4. This assault was followed up by an assault on Baga itself and the surrounding towns, which lasted from Jan. 6 until Friday.

The Nigerian military is currently engaged in a counter-offensive against Boko Haram, which is coming off a year in which it was more lethal than ever.

In April of 2013, the group sparked international outcry after abducting over 200 girls from a school in the northeastern town of Chibok. The girls are still missing, and Boko Haram has perpetrated series of large-scale attacks since then. Over 100 people were killed in simultaneous bomb attacks in the city of Jos this past May; just a few days later, the group killed dozens of farmers in their own fields in a remote northeastern corner of the country.
The group bombed a mosque in Kano in late November, killing over 120 people; in December, the jihadists abducted “scores” of people from a village in northeastern Nigeria.
Overall, Boko Haram killed an estimated 11,000 people in 2014.
The insurgency comes during a time of political uncertainty for Nigeria, which has presidential elections scheduled for Feb. 14. Obviously, this contest is taking place against the backdrop of an intensifying national-security crisis.
Boko Haram may be stepping up attacks in order to derail the fragile country’s democratic process, Roddy Barclay, a senior Africa analyst at the London-based firm Control Risks, told Time. “Boko Haram will be a key player in the 2015 elections,” he said. “It will seek to disrupt the elections by staging targeted attacks and by seeking to incite broader religious violence.”

SUDAN: PREGNANT woman to be flogged to death for the ‘crime’ of marrying a Christian man

Christian woman could face death for her faith in Sudan

(CNN) – A Christian woman in Sudan reportedly has until Thursday to either recant her faith or face a possible sentence of death.
Meriam Yehya Ibrahim, 27, was convicted by a Khartoum court this week of apostasy, or the renunciation of faith, Amnesty International said Wednesday, a day before the expected ruling. The court considers her to be Muslim.
According to the rights group, she was also convicted of adultery because her marriage to a Christian man was considered void under Sharia law.
“The fact that a woman could be sentenced to death for her religious choice, and to flogging for being married to a man of an allegedly different religion, is abhorrent and should never be even considered,” Manar Idriss, Amnesty International’s Sudan researcher, said in a statement.
“‘Adultery’ and ‘apostasy’ are acts which should not be considered crimes at all, let alone meet the international standard of ‘most serious crimes’ in relation to the death penalty. It is flagrant breach of international human rights law,” the researcher said.
Ibrahim is eight months pregnant and currently in custody with her 20-month-old son, according to Amnesty International, which considers her a prisoner of conscience.
Christian Solidarity Worldwide, another rights group, described Ibrahim’s case as follows:
She was born to a Sudanese Muslim father and an Ethiopian Orthodox mother. Her father left when she was 6 years old, and Ibrahim was raised by her mother as a Christian.
However, because her father was Muslim, she was considered by the courts to be the same, which would mean her marriage to a non-Muslim man is void.
In past cases involving pregnant or nursing women, the Sudanese government waited until the mother weaned her child before executing any sentence, said Christian Solidarity Worldwide spokeswoman Kiri Kankhwende.
After-hours attempts Wednesday to contact the Justice Minister and Foreign Affairs Minister in Sudan were unsuccessful. Foreign embassies in Khartoum are urging the government there to reverse course.
“We call upon the Government of Sudan to respect the right to freedom of religion, including one’s right to change one’s faith or beliefs, a right which is enshrined in international human rights law as well as in Sudan’s own 2005 Interim Constitution,” the embassies of the United States, United Kingdom, Canada and Netherlands said in a statement.
“We further urge Sudanese legal authorities to approach Ms. Meriam’s case with justice and compassion that is in keeping with the values of the Sudanese people,” it read.

GHANA:Pastor burns boy to cast out demons from him

(OMGGHANA)

Pastor burns boy to exorcise him

A 41-year-old pastor of the Holy Church of Ghana in Mankessim in the Central Region, who used heated stones to burn the body of a nine-year-old boy under the pretext of exorcising him of a demonic spirit, has appeared before the Cape Coast Circuit Court charged with causing unlawful harm.
The accused, Kojo Affram, alias Osofo Kojo Abraham, is in the dock with his apprentice, Yaw Nkansah. They pleaded guilty with explanation.
The court, presided over by Ms Eva Bannerman Williams, however, deferred sentence to May 28, 2014.
Facts of case
Briefing the court, Chief Inspector Christiana Sampoma said the complainant, Stephen Nyame, lives with his son, Kweku Nyame, the victim, in Mankessim. She said Osofo Abraham and Nkansah also live in the same vicinity with the complainant.
According to Chief Inspector Sampoma, about three months ago, Kweku left home unceremoniously and could not be found for two days.
She said knowing Osofo Abraham as a friend and prophet of God, Mr Nyame approached him and asked for prayers for the return of his son. She said fortunately enough for Mr Nyame, his son returned home that very day and Osofo Abraham, who happened to visit his friend at that time, saw Kweku Nyame.
She said Osofo Abraham ordered Mr Nyame to send his son to his (Osofo Abraham’s) prayer camp for spiritual deliverance because he believed Kweku Nyame was possessed by a demonic spirit.
She said out of fear of losing his son, Mr Nyame sent his son to Osofo Abraham to cleanse him of the demonic spirit.
Chief Inspector Sampoma said Osofo Abraham kept Kweku Nyame at his prayer camp, where the boy was taken through a series of spiritual deliverance to deal critically with the demonic spirit.
She said Mr Nyame visited the camp one day to see his son with three big hot stones placed in front of him and covered with a mat and cloth, while the boy was firmly held on the ground.
She told the court that that very act of using hot stones to cast the demonic spirit out had been done twice on the victim already and on both occasions the boy had screamed for help before he was allowed to come out with burns all over his body because of the heat from the stones.
She said Kweku Nyame was consequently kept in the prayer camp to undergo herbal treatment for the burns.
Chief Inspector Sampoma said Kweku Nyame could no longer walk properly as a result of the burns. She said realising the deformity caused to his son, Mr Nyame lodged a complaint at the police station, leading to the arrest of Osofo Abraham and Nkansah.
Explanation
In his explanation, Osofo Abraham told the court that the complainant had approached him to cast out a spirit which he (Mr Nyame) believed had been tormenting his son.
He said Mr Nyame had told him that the boy had started crawling just a month after he was born and that, he (the father) believed, was not normal.
Osofo Abraham said he travelled and was called that Kweku Nyame was sick and so he directed his apprentice to use the heated stones and herbs to treat the boy.
He said it was not his first time of using that method, pointing out that the victim had told him that the burns were as a result of his spiritual team members who found him to be stubborn for allowing a pastor to cast out the demonic spirit from him.
He said the burns were as a result of hot water poured on him by his spiritual team members.

ABUJA:BOMB BLAST KILLS AT LEAST 16,LEAVING MANY WOUNDED

Vehicles burn after an attack in Abuja on April 14, 2014. A bombing at a bus station on the outskirts of Nigeria's capital killed at least 16 people on Thursday, just weeks after a deadly attack hit the same spot. AFP PHOTO / STR

A bombing at a bus station on the outskirts of Nigeria's capital killed at least 16 people on Thursday, just weeks after a deadly attack hit the same spot.
No group has claimed responsibility for the latest attack, but suspicion immediately fell on Boko Haram, the extremist Islamist group which has killed thousands in a five-year insurgency.
The explosion rocked the crowded Nyanya bus terminal just a few kilometres from central Abuja at roughly 8:00 pm (1900 GMT) and emergency workers were at the scene trying to rescue the injured, said Manzo Ezekiel, spokesman for the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA).
He told AFP that the work was complicated by darkness at the station, which is very poorly lit after sundown.
A bombing on April 14 that targeted morning commuters at the Nyanya terminal killed 75 people, making it the deadliest attack ever in Abuja.
Boko Haram's leader Abubakar Shekau, declared a global terrorist by the United States, said his group carried out the April 14 bombing in a video message obtained by AFP.
NEMA's central region coordinator Ishaya Chonoko, who was at the scene, told AFP the explosion was caused by "a bomb blast", but declined to provide casualty figures.
An AFP reporter at the nearby Asokoro General Hospital counted nine dead bodies which had been brought from Nyanya and a witness at the same hospital who requested anonymity said he had seen at least seven other corpses arrive.
Much of Boko Haram's recent violence has targeted the remote northeast, the group's historic stronghold, where more than 1,500 people have been killed already this year.
A second attack in two weeks just a few kilometres from the seat of government highlighted the serious threat the Islamists pose to Africa's most populous country and largest economy.
President Goodluck Jonathan has faced intense pressure over the unrest, which has continued unchecked despite a massive year-long military offensive in the northeast aimed at crushing Boko Haram's uprising.
The Nyanya station was completely inaccessible after Thursday's blast, with the one access road blocked and cars backed up for several kilometres, an AFP reporter said.
Ezekiel, who said he lives near Nyanya and heard the bomb go off, described the road leading to the station as "jam packed", adding that ambulances and rescue workers were struggling to reach the area.
The bombing came amid mounting public outrage after one of Boko Haram's most shocking attacks, the mass kidnapping of more than 100 girls from their school in the northeast.
Officials and locals have offered contradictory figures for the number of girls taken, but the school's principal has said that 187 are still being held hostage.
Boko Haram, which says it wants to create a strict Islamic state in Nigeria's mainly Muslim north, has attacked schools, churches, mosques and various symbols of authority in an insurgency that has killed thousands since 2009.

Nigerian pleads guilty to U.S. charges of aiding al Qaeda

A Nigerian citizen pleaded guilty on Tuesday to U.S. charges of providing material support to an al Qaeda affiliate, and participating in its media and recruitment campaigns.
Lawal Olaniyi Babafemi, 33, appearing before a federal judge in Brooklyn, New York, pleaded guilty to providing material support to a designated foreign terrorist organization.
The plea came ahead of a July 14 trial date and followed a Nigerian court’s decision in August to grant a U.S. request for Babafemi’s extradition.
Nigerian pleads guilty to U.S. charges of aiding al Qaeda
Prosecutors said that, from January 2010 to August 2011, Babafemi traveled from Nigeria to Yemen twice to meet with leaders of al Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula, known as AQAP

“The defendant traveled to Yemen to put himself at the disposal of a violent terrorist organization that has repeatedly demonstrated its determination to inflict bodily and economic harm on the United States and its citizens,” Brooklyn U.S. Attorney Loretta Lynch said in a statement.
The U.S. government said Babafemi worked on AQAP’s media operations, including the publication of its magazine, called “Inspire.”
The group’s leadership, including Anwar al-Awlaki, paid Babafemi almost $9,000 to recruit English-speaking people from Nigeria, prosecutors said. Awlaki, a U.S. citizen born in New Mexico, was killed in a U.S. drone strike in Yemen in 2011.
An indictment unsealed in February 2013 charged Babafemi, also known as “Ayatollah Mustapha,” with four counts including conspiracy to provide material support to AQAP, and use of firearms.
U.S. District Judge John Gleeson scheduled sentencing for August 27. Babafemi faces a maximum of 30 years in prison.

Mugabe Refuses To Choose Successor

Zimbabwe President Robert Mugabe says he will not appoint a successor as jostling for his post continues to intensify.
President Mugabe told Ghanian-born British filmmaker Roy Agyemang in a BBC documentary that he had assessed his potential successors but wanted Zimbabweans to choose their next leader.
“I have people in mind who would want to be. But I have looked at them.
“I have not come to any conclusion as to which one, really, should be. I leave it to the choice of people. Perhaps when we get close to the election I will have some in mind,” he said
Zimbabwe will hold its next elections in 2018 but President Mugabe, who has been in power since 1980, has refused to talk about his retirement.
His Zanu PF party would hold an elective congress in December this year but his position is unlikely to be contested.
However, the party is reportedly divided into two factions, one that backs Vice President Joice Mujuru and Justice Minister Emmerson Mnangagwa to take over from President Mugabe.
The long time ruler recently told his clan that none of the touted successors were guaranteed of the top job.
“It must be leadership that derives from the people, chosen by the people, goes back to the people, listens to the people and is guided by the demands of the people,” he told the BBC.
President Mugabe has been accused of manipulating elections to remain in power despite reports of his failing health and waning popularity.
In the past, he has said that he would not retire as long as his party is divided and is facing disintegration.
Last year he won a presidential election overwhelmingly after stumbling in the 2008 polls where he lost the first round to longtime opponent Morgan Tsvangirai.
Zanu PF has also regained the two thirds majority it had lost to the opposition that same year.

Pistorius ‘shot girlfriend after quarrel’

South African Paralympic sprinter Oscar Pistorius appearing at the Magistrate Court in Pretoria on June 4, 2013. PHOTO | ALEXANDER JOE | FILE

PRETORIA, Monday
Oscar Pistorius argued with his girlfriend shortly before shooting her dead, the prosecution lawyer alleged on Monday as his gruelling cross-examination of the sprinter went into a second week.
Prosecutor Gerrie Nel accused the 27-year-old of concocting evidence in his defence against the charge of murdering Reeva Steenkamp on Valentines’ Day last year.
“It’s the state’s case, Mr Pistorius, that she wanted to leave and that you weren’t sleeping, you were both awake,” said Nel.
“That’s not correct my lady, that’s untrue,” Pistorius replied softly.
“There was an argument,” Nel said, drawing another denial.
Nel repeatedly described the athlete’s explanation that he accidentally shot Steenkamp through a locked bathroom door as “so improbable that it cannot be reasonably possible.”
The prosecutor’s relentless questioning has elicited tears and taut replies from the world-famous double amputee, who insists he and the 29-year-old model were in a loving relationship.
During the relentless back-and-forth Pistorius and Nel at times appeared to come close to bickering.
Nel complained that Pistorius was being evasive and challenged him: “Today I pick up you’re not sure about things, is anything wrong?” Nel asked. “You’re fine?”
Pistorius grew increasingly restless during the morning, wiping his face, pinching the bridge of his nose and clenching his jaw.
Jumping from one event or piece of evidence to another, Nel sought to keep Pistorius off balance.
The athlete could not explain why the model and law graduate had undigested food in her stomach up to eight hours after the couple ate under his version of events.
A forensic pathologist earlier testified that she must have eaten around two hours before her death, which contradicts the accused’s version they were sleeping at the time.
The defence has disputed the science that stomach contents could accurately indicate the time of the last meal.
The athlete was also asked to explain why Steenkamp’s jeans were lying on the floor while the rest of her possessions were neatly arranged.
Nel has openly called the athlete’s version “a lie” contending Pistorius knew exactly what he was doing when he fired the lethal shots.
“You knew Reeva was behind the door and you shot at her!” He said last Friday, with athlete replying softly “It’s not true, milady.”

Seven Ugandans fined for illegal entry into Zimbabwe

A Google map shows Zimbabwe further South from Uganda.A

Zimbabwean court has fined seven Ugandans for entering the country illegal after they sneaked through the Zambian border on their way to Botswana.
The Ugandans, who were found with valid passports, claimed that they were tricked by a group of Zimbabwean human traffickers who convinced them that they would be arrested if they went through the Victoria Falls border.
Namburu Safina (27), Nanyazi Esther (29), Kobusingye Madina (27), Nnabbanja Florence (20), Ddmba Yusuf (21), Nyanzi Ismail (37), and Muzinguzi Fabriano (28) were fined between $10 and $30 by a Victoria Falls magistrate last Friday.
SEEK REFUGE
Magistrate Sharon Rosemani found them guilty of violating the country’s immigration laws
They told the court that they paid the traffickers $47 (500 rand) each instead of the $85 (900 rand) they had initially been asked for.
Ernest Shoko, a Zimbabwean accused of human trafficking, was given $50 bail after he was charged with assisting the illegal immigrants.
People from the Great Lakes region and the Horn of Africa, enroute to South Africa or Botswana to seek refuge, frequently pass through Zimbabwe's borders.
Last week, 15 Zimbabweans died while trying to cross a crocodile-infested Limpopo River to neighbouring South Africa.
Their bodies were retrieved from the flooded river by South African and Zimbabwean police last Thursday.

ABUJA:71 killed, 124 injured in blasts at bus station

Vehicles burn after an attack in Abuja on April 14, 2014. Twin blasts at a bus station packed with morning commuters on the outskirts of Nigeria's capital killed dozens of people on April 14, in what appeared to be the latest attack by Boko Haram Islamists. AFP PHOTO / STR

ABUJA, Monday
Twin blasts on Monday at a bus station on the outskirts of Nigeria’s capital crammed with morning commuters killed 71 people and injured 124 others, police said.
“We have a total of 71 dead and 124 others injured. (The wounded) are receiving treatment at hospitals within and around” Abuja, national police spokesman Frank Mba told journalists at the scene.
The explosions rocked the Nyanya station roughly five kilometres (three miles) south of Abuja at 6:45 am (0545 GMT) and destroyed some 30 vehicles, mostly large passenger buses, officials and an AFP reporter said.
The head of search and rescue operations at the NationalEmergency Management Agency, Charles Otegbade, said one of the blasts “emanated from a vehicle” within the station but the precise nature of the explosion was not immediately clear.
No group has yet claimed the apparent attack, but suspicion is likely to fall on Boko Haram, an insurgent group blamed for killing thousands across northern and central Nigeria since 2009.
The Islamists have attacked Nigeria’s capital in the past, most prominently in a 2011 car bombing at the UN headquarters in the city that killed at least 26 people.
“Dozens of people were killed in the bomb blasts in Nyanya bus park this morning,” NEMA spokesman Manzo Ezekiel told AFP, adding that witnesses reported hearing two separate explosions.
The explosions left a hole roughly four feet (1.2 metres) deep and scattered personal items as well as human flesh across the compound, an AFP reporter and witnesses said.
“I saw bodies taken away in open trucks,” said witness Yakubu Mohammed. “It is difficult to count them because the bodies were burnt and in pieces.”
A second witness, Suleiman Aminu, said he believed the initial blast came from a minibus parked near larger commuter vehicles, and that commuters who had queued up to board were the likely target.
Nyanya is a densely populated suburb of Abuja, filled with government and civil society workers who cannot afford the city’s exorbitant rents.
Boko Haram violence has cost more than 1,500 lives already this year, but most of the unrest has affected villages in the remote northeast.
The military in May of last year launched a massive offensive to crush the Islamist uprising and has described Boko Haram as being in disarray and on the defensive.
A major attack in the capital, just a few kilometres from the seat of government, will likely cast further doubt on the success of that campaign. (AFP)

Three Ghanaian medical students on government scholarships jailed for robbing in Cuba

Ghanaian medical students cuba
When you have a useless government who is only concerned with stealing tax payers money, these are the kind of results it produces…
Three Ghanaian medical students studying in Cuba on Government of Ghana scholarship have been arrested for allegedly robbing a hotel.
The three, all male, are said to be children of some high level public officials including a deputy minister of state. The Foreign Affairs Ministry has also confirmed the arrest.
There have been recurring incidences of students on scholarship abroad sending SOS to complain about government’s failure to pay their allowances. Out of frustration some students were compelled to go into robbery, one of the distressed callers who does not want to be named said.
“They have been jailed for about two months now,” he claimed.
He said the situation is having serious effect on the education of about 350 medical students in Cuba.
Another distraught student said the government has for seven consecutive months defaulted in giving them $250 monthly subvention.
This has been compounded by the rising cost of living in Cuba, he noted. He remarked, “withholding [the monthly subvention] is killing us”.
They are unable to buy food, cloth, and undertake their research works among other important needs, the students narrated their ordeal as they made clarion calls on the government to “stick to it words” no matter how small the amount they have been promised.

EGYPT:4 GAY MENGIVEN A SENTENCE OF 8 YEARS FOR BEING GAY

jailed for being gay
A court in Egypt sentenced four men to up to eight years in prison on Monday for practicing homosexuality, a judicial official said.
Prosecutors had accused the men of holding “deviant parties” and dressing in women’s clothes. Three were sentenced to eight years and the fourth to three years in prison.
Prosecutors have used a law banning “debauchery” to try homosexuals in the past.
Those accused of homosexuality are often forced to undergo medical tests to establish they are “habitual” gays, a practice rights groups have decried as abusive.
Homosexuality is not tolerated across the Middle East and much of Africa.

NEW DOCUMENTARY-"Gaddafi kept the head of an enemy in his freezer and had a dungeon built below a university where he would rape students"

More disturbing details have emerged telling of former dictator Muammar Gaddafi’s iron-fisted rule over Libya.
The despot kept the severed head of one of his enemies in a freezer for 25 years and built a secret sex dungeon on the campus of a college specifically to rape coeds, according to a new documentary on his brutal regime.
He also stored the bodies of other rivals he had killed and would visit them occasionally at a walk-in freezer. The sex chamber was built on the campus of Tripoli University.

Dictator: Former Libyan leader Col. Muammar Gaddafi gestures as he enters the U.N. headquarters in 2009 for the United Nations General Assembly
The barbaric horrors are revealed in British filmmaker Christopher Olgiati’s new documentary called ‘Mad Dog: Inside the Secret World of Muammar Gaddafi.’
The film includes an interview with a renegade CIA operative Frank Terpil who ran a ‘murder for hire’ team used by Ghaddafi. The dictator dubbed it ‘Murder Incorporated.’
Terpil says in the film he was given $1m to kill one of the dictator’s rivals and deliver his head back to Libya.
Terpil claims Ghaddafi, who was killed by rebels two years ago after his regime was overthrown, kept the head in a freezer along with the bodies of other victims he had murdered.
‘I was in Geneva… [a Ghadaffi relative] opened up a letter of credit for a million dollars for [the target's] demise, on the caveat that his head be delivered back in a cooler to Libya so Gaddafi could actually look at the results of the work,’ he says in the biopic, according to the Post.

Terpil fled to Cuba after being sentenced to 53 years in prison for illegal arms deals, according to the New York Post.
A separate source claims the depraved dictator would often visit the frozen bodies of his enemies, sometimes as much as 25 years later.’
The documentary team also found evidence of the depraved dictator’s secret sex den at Tripoli University he had built to rape students after giving speeches on the campus.
‘The untouched room contains a bed, Jacuzzi and area where the women were checked for STDs, with surgical instruments, rubber masks and anaesthesia,’ Olgiati told the Post.
‘[Gaddafi] was utterly charming, utterly ruthless and stupendously rich,’ Olgiati continued. ‘He was driven solely by his lust for power.’

“I was asleep and not even my husband’s movements as he prepared for work woke me up. When I woke up, I found one of my twins missing. I started searching for her outside the house and that is when I saw the dogs eating her body,” she told the Nation.
Her screams alerted her husband and other workers who came and chased the dogs away from her daughter’s remains.
