Game Of Thrones:Sn 4 Will Be The Last Of The Epc Series,Says Director

Game of Thrones

The director of HBO's hit fantasy series Game of Thrones has promised that the finale of the show's fourth season will be a doozy.
Fans might find that hard to believe since the penultimate episode of season three saw the gruesome end of Robb (Richard Madden) Stark and his mother Catelyn (Michelle Fairley) (and Robb's dire wolf Grey Wind!) and now, only two episodes into season four another huge death has played out.  The show's biggest villain, King Joffrey (Jack Gleeson may be gone, but the plot is definitely set to thicken.
"Episode 10 of the season is, you know, as David [Benioff] and Dan [Weiss] will tell you, it’s the first true finale they’ve ever done and it’s really the episode to end all episodes," director Alex Graves told Deadline.com. "It’s the largest episode they’ve ever made."

Graves goes on to say that season four's "bang of a start" is just the tip of the iceberg.

"So much happens in the latter part of the season that is so massive, there’s no way they would have been able to fit it in and to adjust it," he adds.

Those who have read the books know what's to come, and Graves reveals that it's only fitting that Tyrion (Peter Dinklage), who has been accused of murdering King Joffrey, will face his father over the charges.

"Yeah, there’s a confrontation between the father and son but that’s in the final episode," Graves says. "Episode 10 of the season is, you know, as David and Dan will tell you, it’s the first true finale they’ve ever done and it’s really the episode to end all episodes. It’s the largest episode they’ve ever made."

We're beginning to worry that another big death is on the way.
