X-Men: Days of Future Past director Bryan Singer has been accused of sexually abusing a 17-year-old boy back in 1999. The federal lawsuit, filed on behalf of plaintiff Michael F. Egan III, claims Singer plied the underage boy with alcohol, forced him to "inhale" cocaine and raped him. Singer's lawyer, Marty Singer calls the claims "completely without merit. We are very confident that Bryan will be vindicated in this absurd and defamatory lawsuit."
Additionally, Singer said, "It is obvious that this case was filed in an attempt to get publicity at a time when Bryan's new movie is about to open in a few weeks."
