Bobby Ray adds some hip-hop flavor to the poppy track from the former Jonas Brothers member’s 2014 self-titled solo album.
B.o.B has given Nick Jonas’ hit single “Jealous” the remix treatment. Premiering on Friday, January 16, the new version finds the rapper giving the pop/R&B tune some hip-hop flavor by adding some brand new verses.
The remix kicks off with the first verse from Bobby Ray. “I’m from Zone 6/ How’d I end up in the friend zone?/ We can make the bed rock, meet the Flintstones/ She always thirst trappin’, she a trap lord/ She don’t even run track, posin’ in them track shorts,” he raps.
The original “Jealous” appears on Jonas’ newest self-titled album, his first solo set since the break-up of his and his brothers’ band the Jonas Brothers. The song, which was inspired by a real event that happened while he was out with girlfriend Olivia Culpo, peaked at No. 7Billboard Hot 100.
The song already has an official remix featuring new verse from Tinashe. The version with the “2 On” hitmaker was released back in November.
