No More ‘Hood’ Clubs for Me,Chris Brown states

Shooting up the club is not impressive to Chris Brown.
After five people were wounded from gunfire that rang out while he was on stage at Fiesta in San Jose this weekend, the singer reportedly told his management that he's enacting a new rule: no more performing at clubs that are "too hood."
According to TMZ, the singer told his team about the personal policy change during an emergency meeting immediately following the incident. Brown echoed that sentiment on Instagram, where he liked a fan's meme defending his choice to get out of harm's way. "This ain't no western," he wrote. "What idiot u know gonna stand there and get shot ... Bullets ain't got no name especially when u got random n**as being n**as fighting in the club. Our society is f**ed up in the head and needs leaders."
This is the second nightclub shooting in the past six months that the Virginia native has experienced while billed at a Cali venue. The previous, in August, left Suge Knight shot six times.
A local paper, The Mercury News, reports that Brown's appearance Sunday (Jan. 11) was a last minute scheduling. Authorities had warned the original venue about potential violence, and offered Fiesta the same instruction of increased security.
The city is now considering what action, if any, needs to occur in preparation for the singer's national arena tour, set to kick off March 6 at the SAP Center in San Jose.
