Zimbabwean woman reportedly doused her sleeping husband with boiling cooking oil following a domestic dispute.
According to
News Day, the husband sustained severe burns on his face and was admitted in hospital.
The report said after the dispute, the husband had retired to bed and
fallen asleep. The woman, who was still filled with rage, boiled
cooking oil and poured it all over her husband’s face.
The woman was arrested for attempted murder. She was not asked to
plead when she appeared before a Harare magistrate, the report said.
